A student caught the moment a greedy gull swooped to grab a beakful of her seaside ice cream.
Dalyntara Tara Dalyntara, a postgraduate student from Thailand, was shocked when a gull dived in to her picture-perfect dessert in Brighton.
“Only three seconds then it’s gone,” she wrote on Instagram .
“I hope the bird took that ice-cream cone too and used it to build its nest.”
