A proposed strip club in Essex wants punters to be able to give dancers a 'peck on the cheek'
An adult entertainment club in Essex wants strict 'no touching' rules to be relaxed at a new venue.
A company called Wizard Sleeve plans to open a strip club over two floors above CTZN bar in Chelmsford.
The establishment would feature a large table stage and a collection of private booths and VIP rooms.
And Wizard Sleeve bars also hopes some 'touching' will be allowed.
It has applied to Chelmsford City Council to seek approval for a "customary" handshake or a peck on the cheek after a dance, Essex Live reports .
The company, which owns three other strip clubs – in Southend, Basildon, and Watford – thinks the "no" condition should be amended to allow a "kiss on the cheek or handshake which is customary at the conclusion of a dance".
Not everyone is happy at the thought of the new venture or the more liberal excitements it could bring.

One person opposing the plans is Joe Ferrari, who owns The Cave, another adult entertainment bar in Chelmsford.
Ferrari doesn't have private rooms and thinks the zero touching policy should apply to all.

He told Essex Live: "My fear is they will get the licence and then it's too late. Then they will be up and trading.
"This whole area is totally family orientated."
But Robert Sutherland, a solicitor at Keystone Law representing Wizard Sleeve said "there will be no touching of performers during dances".
He explained: "The application states that the venue will comply with all the standards and conditions set by the local authority.
"The application to remove the no touching clause was not in relation to performances themselves. It is to do with customers giving a peck on the cheek to a performer, or a hand shake, as is customary after a dance. That is not unusual".
According to Sutherland, kids won't see the raunchy behaviour as the strip club is set above the ground floor and will have darkened windows.
He also said that "Chelmsford is a city where there is entertainment for adults and this establishment will also be somewhere for adults to be entertained".

Why? He writes: "Chicken is given a two day shelf life, once in the counter. However these two bypass this and get four days, and can get a little stinky."
If you're in the States, it's bad news for chicken lovers. Another Reddit user responded: "I was a subway employee for around a year here in the states and Seeing that you guys have a 2 day shelf on Chicken teriyaki amazes me.
"Our CT had a 5 day shelf and we were told that once it reaches the 5th day, to just change the date. With all of the shift changes and varying factors, we never knew how long this chicken was out(between 5-9 days). I quit after I got reprimanded for throwing out CT on the 5 day."
Gross. At least the UK apparently has stricter standards.

He also revealed that the chicken isn't 100% meat but, as with many shop-bought cold meat products, is made up of 84% chicken with added starch and water.
And when asked what the one thing in the store was that he wouldn't eat, he again said chicken because "it stinks when it comes out the bag."

The German wasp is likely to be 'extra bold' after feasting on fermented fruit
Brits are being warned to watch out for 'jobless and drunk' German WASPS... which are now at their ‘angriest’ and most likely to sting for no reason.
Pest control chiefs says the German wasps - called yellowjackets and whose Latin name is Vespula Germanica - can give a much nastier sting than the common wasp.
The worker wasps, which are bigger than normal wasps but smaller than hornets, have now finished their work’supplying the queen wasps with nectar and have nothing to do.
The queens have now finished laying their eggs and have left the nest, meaning the worker wasps are no longer tending to the queen and are instead getting drunk on fermenting fruit.
At this time of the year - especially as the UK continues to bask in a summer heatwave - worker wasps feast on fermented fruit, meaning they are tipsy and extra bold.
Pest control firm Cleankill Environmental Services say people should be wary of the German wasps - which can sting repeatedly - at the moment, especially when having picnics or barbecues.
Boss Paul Bates said the wasps are now at their "most aggressive and dangerous" and are "particularly active" at the moment - and warned that if you try to swat a solitary wasp, it could "call for back-up" and you could end up being attacked by a swarm.

Expert advice is to 'stay calm around the wasps'
He said German wasps - which can be distinguished from normal wasps because of their size and three black spots on their face - were "causing the most problems" at the moment.
Speaking this week, he said: “The type of wasp causing most problems is the German wasp which gives a particularly painful sting despite its size.
“Worker wasps have finished their life’s work as queen wasps have stopped laying and don’t need food bringing to them.
“This means that the workers are free to go out and enjoy themselves which includes stealing meat from the barbecue.
“There will also be drunk wasps around who have been feasting on fermented fruit and will be extra bold.
“All this means that the wasps are likely to sting for no reason and they are now at their most dangerous.”
He added: “The advice is to stay calm around the wasps.
“If you agitate them, they send messages to other wasps that they are under attack and you can end up dealing with a swarm.”
He gave advice to Brits planning barbecues and parties, adding: “If you are having summer barbecues be aware that you may attract uninvited guests to the table.
“Be particularly careful if you have small children as we’ve heard some horrific stories involving children being stung.
“It’s bad enough if you are stung as an adult, but wasp stings are even more excruciating for children.”

The average wasp nest contains 10,000 wasps, although some can house up to 500,000 of the flying pests.
There are hundreds of millions of the German wasps in the UK, although population numbers depend on favourable conditions such as mild winters and dry spring and summers.
By comparison, there are around 240 billion common wasps in the UK.
Londoner Garry Brooke, 34, was stung as he bit into a ham sandwich last week.
He said: “I was having a picnic with my girlfriend and all of a sudden I took a bite of my sandwich and this wasp stung me.
“I jumped up and started spitting, but got stung again - it was total agony.”
Another victim of the German wasp was Paul Oliver, 38, of High Wycombe, Bucks, who said he ran into the house after seeing a swarm of wasps come after him after he was stung by a solitary one in his garden shed.
He said: “I was shooing this wasp out of my garden shed and it turned on me and stung me on the neck.
“I was going to bash it with a paper, but I saw loads of other wasps coming for me, so I just ran into the house and locked the door.”

The Dark Lord’s lookalike was delivered by C-section at Paignton Zoo in Devon after complications in pregnancy of her mother, Ivy.

A tiny primate baby has been delivered by Caesarean at Paignton Zoo in Devon.
“A quick x-ray confirmed that the baby’s head was engaged in the pelvis ready to come out.
“Later that evening we became concerned as her health was deteriorating and with no signs of normal labour progressing, we decided to do a C-section to save Ivy’s life and that of the baby.”
Ghislaine Sayers, head of veterinary services at Paignton Zoo, said: “We have only done three C-sections here in the last 16 years. Jo, our surgeon on this occasion, has performed them on dogs, cats, cows and sheep before – but never a primate.

A family were stunned when a grandfather was found by police - months after attending his cremation .
Miguel Angel Gomar De Luna, 74, had escaped his nursing home and gone on a drinking spree, sleeping rough and begging for more money to buy booze.
After months of searching for him in the cold winter months, officers called the family to say they had found a badly decomposed body matching his description.
His daughter, Lucero Gomar Ramos, was shown pictures of the corpse but it was in such a bad state she struggled to recognise her father.

A chubby monitor lizard desperate for a taste of freedom has been reunited with its owner a week after going missing.
The 6kg reptile made a break for it after being put on a strict diet and exercise regime.
It had been previously overfed , forcing its new owners to take action, before it fled from its enclosure in Kelsale, Suffolk.
Thankfully he was returned home with the help of the RSPCA after being spotted by shocked passers-by hiding underneath a piece of corrugated metal.

“At a first glance he could easily be mistaken for a crocodile - he is huge.
“I have only ever seen one monitor lizard before - but it was nothing like this. This one was so big - and very strong too.
“He was clearly overweight and was lost - and a bit grumpy about it.
“The person that found him had managed to contain him in a trailer and called us to help.
“Thankfully his owner was tracked down and we could reunite them fairly swiftly.”
It emerged the lizard’s new owners had allowed it out into the garden to try and get it to swim and do some laps around the garden to help it lose weight .
But it seems it decided enough was enough, when it made its great escape.
Insp Finch added: “We found out that his owner had adopted him after his previous keeper had fed him too much and he was severely overweight.

“That is why he had been out in the garden - for a swim and to get some much needed exercise doing laps of the garden - to help him lose weight.
“Unfortunately he took a wander and went missing.
“In the warmer weather reptiles have more energy and this one had put on a spurt to escape and wander through to fields neighbouring the home.
“The owner was so relieved to get his lizard back. He had been cutting down shrubbery in his garden desperately trying to find him - but with no luck. It was lovely to be able to reunite them again.
Dr Ros Clubb, exotics scientist for the RSPCA, said: it was lucky the lizard was found when he was as they don’t usually survive long-term in the wild.
She said: “Lizards like this would not survive long-term in the wild in this country so it is lucky he was found when he was.
“It is great that his owner is taking such care to exercise him and make him lose weight.
"With reptiles this is a very slow process as their metabolism is slow. So this shows dedication getting him to stick to his regime.
“Reptiles rely on their environment to warm up and do have more energy in the warmer weather, and can move a lot faster than usual.
"So it is important that owners keep an eye on them and block off any potential escape routes if they are let outside to make sure they don’t get loose.
“Looking after animals like this is more complex and difficult than people think and unfortunately we do hear of cases like this one where an animal has been overfed or fed the wrong things - leading him to become overweight.”
A proud mum-to-be has posted an incredible picture of her ultrasound scan that looks uncannily like a RABBIT.
The shocked woman from Florida in the US shared the bizarre picture showing the profile of a tiny rabbit-shaped foetus - with little bunny ears sticking up and four legs - on social media.
Underneath, she wrote: "Went for my first ultrasound today… turns out I'm having a bunny."
The expectant mum posted the picture onto reddit under the user name NetteFraulein.
The 33-year-old, who does not want to be named, said: "I thought it was funny.
"I was nervous because we have lost two in the past so I was relieved when I saw the heart beat at 163 ( indicating a healthy heart rate).

The world's oldest man has been named as an Indonesian who is believed to be a staggering 145-years-old – but who wants to die.
Mbah Gotho has emerged from obscurity with documentation recognised by Indonesian officials revealing he was born on December 31, 1870.
He has outlived all 10 of his siblings as well as his four wives, the last of whom died in 1988.
All of his children have also died, and now he is survived by his grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
If correct, that makes him significantly older than the verified oldest person in the world ever, a title that belongs to French woman Jeanne Calment, who lived to be 122.

The super-senior citizen from Sragen, Central Java, was recently interviewed by regional reporters, and he said he has been through it all and would not mind passing on.
"What I want is to die," he said. "My grandchildren are all independent."
Suryanto, Mbah’s grandson, said his grandfather has been preparing for his death ever since he was 122, but it never seemed to come.
He said: "The gravestone there was made in 1992. That was 24 years ago."

Staff at the Indonesian records office say they have confirmed Mbah’s birthdate, which is specified on his Indonesian ID card as December 31, 1870.
Whether or not he will ever be listed as the world's oldest man however is open to question, as the paperwork has so far not been independently verified.

If so he will join to others without verifiable records who are purportedly older than Mbah - 171-year-old James Olofintuyi from Nigeria and 163-year-old Dhaqabo Ebba from Ethiopia.

For the past three months, he has had to be spoon-fed and bathed as he has become increasingly frail.
When asked what his secret to longevity is, Mbah replied: "The recipe is just patience."

Chilling footage shows a man probing an 'alien' he claims to have caught while out walking his dog.
Dr Jonathan Reed alleged that he discovered the extra-terrestrial while out walking his dog Suzy in the Cascade Mountains in Washington back in 1996.
Reed said that the encounter occurred on October 15, when he stumbled across the alien and its black spaceship .
But after discovering the creature, Reed claimed that it 'vaporised' his dog.

In anger, Reed, who says he is a psychologist, used a log from a nearby tree to hit the alien, believing that he had killed the creature.

The video shows Reed apparently unwrapping the alien, which has a typical elongated skull, but bizarrely appears to be wearing a black outfit covering the rest of its dark skin.
After analysing the alien, Reed said he stored the creature in his freezer.

But more worryingly, he now claims that the alien escaped. He also says he has been investigated and harassed by government agents and believes people have tried to kill him.
