Long-term monogamy isn't everyone's idea of a 'happily ever after.'
But if you would like to meet someone who'd also be in it for the long haul , you probably have a rough idea of which traits and quirks you'd be happy with - and which are a deal-breaker .
Our specifications and the things we place importance on shift and fluctuate with age. For example, you might have kissed good-bye to the tortured artiste types of your youth in favour of someone who cracks a smile once in a while.
But imagine if there was one trait which informed not only how good a partner someone else might make - but how good YOU are in a relationship?
According to Dr Ben Ambridge of the University of Liverpool and author of Psy-Q: A mind bending miscellany of everyday psychology , there is one such quality which dictates satisfaction in a relationship. The question is - do you possess it?

Now take the quiz how good you are at being in a relationship.
Although it does depend on the stage at which you're at in your relationship, based on a larger personality test in his book, those who score highly for conscientiousness might be on to something.
As Dr Ambridge told the Guardian :
"Ultimately most of us want a partner who will keep their promises, do their share of the household chores, remember birthdays and anniversaries, not cheat on us and forgive us if we cheat on them – all characteristics of conscientious people, and predictors of relationship satisfaction."
