Stunned holidaymakers have captured the moment two British women queued for food completely naked .
The tourists had been spotted walking along carrying their clothes in their hands on the popular holiday island of Hvar in Croatia.
Witnesses say the pair from the UK were seen near the fast food bar before strolling in and joining the end of the queue, according to local reports.
Pictures of the two women were then posted online where they quickly began to circulate.
In one of the pictures, the two women can be seen from behind walking to the fast food bar.
The other picture shows one of the women waiting in line for food with her clothes hanging from her arm.
Local media reports speculated that the pair were probably not nudists, nor unaware that being naked is illegal in the area, as they had clearly noticeable bikini marks showing that they had been sunbathing with more clothing at least.
Hvar is best known as a summer resort famous for its 13th-century walls, a hilltop fortress and a main square anchored by the Renaissance-era Hvar Cathedral.
Although there are a few signs in Hvar showing that nudity is forbidden, there are no fines or other way of enforcing the ban on the women who would have escaped without any punishment.
In fact, the only places in Croatia where tourists are fined if they strip off are in the capital Zagreb, as well as the coastal cities of Split and Dubrovnik.
